On April 5th 2025, SW VA AUXCOMM assisted the Appalachian Journey Bike Ride in Floyd County. This annual bike ride is a full day that consists of a 35, 70, and 100 mile course. Our group was able to provide communications support for the three away aid stations and for the staff at the start/finish line. The event was a great success and was fun for all involved! We look forward to helping out again next year.
