Our group will be providing communications for the New River Trail Races on April 12th, 2025. This event is a 10, 25, 50, and 100K race along the New River Trail from Fries to Galax, VA. On this portion of the trail cell phone reception is sometimes non-existent, so the resilience of ham radio fills the gap.
